I also received my 10,000 points plus normal monthly points today. I opened the account in late June.

Same here. Account opened and required transactions occured early July ; credited today.

Now to decide whether to keep the account

I didn't think to look. You prompted me to look into both accounts and no statements yet on either (I opened both late June similar to yourself).

That is great! Back in the day there was a limit on the account of 50! Any transactions past that would fail

There was always a built in (security??) limit of 50 transactions per day per card. Once that was reached any further transactions would be declined. Interesting that BW would have removed this limit.

Update: Appears many of my 200 transactions have been declined. This was not apparent last night when the transactions were all made with the same merchant.

Just got my 10k points as well. Looks like they don't enforce their T&C's for this promotion.

I knew my time would come. But boy were they slow in closing this down. Got my letter today saying that my account would be closed. Thanks for the 100K+ points Bankwest

If the experience of others is anything to go by, they won't let you open any type account with them. Ever.
Some of us got half a mil some years ago.

Already have a savings account with them. No indication that this will be closed.

As soon as they have another reasonable credit card offering I intend to apply.
