Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

What's a branch...?  ;) :D I was just complaining to Citibank today that they need to start dealing electronically rather than me having to wait for stuff to arrive in the mail... so unhelpful when I'm travelling so much.

There's actually one just up the road from me

And it's where I had to go so they could verify my identity ;)

arrrrgghhhh wow I am getting confused, was told by the bank that it is only quarterly statements available and now everyone in here seems to be either getting them weekly/monthly. I am feeling a bit hopeless I cant seem to find anywhere online to change the frequency of the statements. HHEEELLLPPP lol

Paper statements arrived in the mail today, perhaps registering for E-staments triggered this, although it was on the cusp of 3 months when I requested e-statements.

Anyhoww - there was one thing interesting - I paid four Bpay bills back in May in the one process - these show up on the statement as on transaction with only the first payee noted.

Most confusing!

Well I just got my e-statement today and unfortunately, unlike the PDF which serfty posted (post 325), I can't see the 10,000 points.
What I can see is my $2000 going in (and out) every month for 3 months?
Is it time to complain?

Well someone clearly has to be first to do so, may as well be you!
Just called up to enquire and after spending 30 minutes on hold, got confirmation that points will post next week.
Didn't see them come up on my statement hence why I was worried. Once they post, goodbye account.

Did you confirm whether you did qualify for the 10K pts? I'd be concerned if it's not showing on the statement "Qantas Points earned on transactions 10,000".

Well that's exactly why I was concerned. But she went through my account with a fine tooth comb. Checked when I opened it, and when I made the deposits. And she confirmed I was good to go. Now whether I get the points next week or in a months time I don't really care, as long as I get them (and that was the purpose of my call, to double check that I was eligible).
I dare say it might be a good idea for anyone who is worried to call up and check.

I have gotten 4 estatements within the last couple of weeks, not sure if its because i'm a "power user" and there is 10 page limit or something. Never the less, I don't care so long my monthly FF points arrive. I now actually look forward to paying my bills

I've put all my savings into the account, but no points shown since June. I'll have to look into it once I'm back in Oz. Thanks for the tips and cheers from Croatia!

Hrm - noticed on one of the accounts I hold my QFF number has dropped off. Technically you're only allowed one account (this isn't written anywhere) but they accidentally let me open 2.

Will need to ring them to sort it out, they can't just delete the number if they only want me to have one. Tell me and I'll close the second account.

Also interesting to note over the last two days I have done 131 transactions on one account and 130 on the other. The only difference was I did a match of them (50 on each) on saturday night at around 0015 - I think it might not include transactions towards the 50 limit if done at certain times of the night. Unfortunately I closed my laptop so it didn't cycle through the full 50 but I intend to test the theory tonight.

I've found that it's a 50 transaction limit midnight to midnight, unable to determine if that's WA time or MEL time, regardless it's the transaction time not settlement time, once I get to 50 transactions I get declined.

Same, usually, but I've definitely been able to exceed that on Saturday and Sunday combined by 30 transactions.

Friday = 50 transactions (done at around midday).
Saturday/Sunday = 130 transactions.
