Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

Had a bankmail reply to say that yes, I should have received the bonus points. Now to see how long before they land. I'm picking next month.

Not at all. I did 20 transactions today at Coles Self service checkout, probably took 2 minutes maximum.

Went into Coles and used the machine. Took me some 10 minutes to do 8 transactions. machine came back with all sorts of questions, instructions, etc. put card in, take card out, flybuy card, etc. How do you manage to do 20 in 2 minutes?

Are you doing 8 separate purchases or 1 purchase with 8 separate payments?

Was 8 items with 8 payments. Each time when I scanned the item, the machine came back with the price of this item to pay. don't seem to have the option to pay any other amount.

Choose split or mixed payments, then enter the amount you want to pay by card. Rinse and repeat.

I got a ton of points this month, they must have shorted me last month.

23,645 on one account and 22,135 on the other.

EDIT: I have a theory as to the above, will need to investigate it over this month though. If my theory is correct it should be pretty cool - but I won't be making this public to everyone if it works. I was only shorted 200 pts last month, not 7,000.

My recent statement just came through and it says I have earned zero points (this is the 3rd statement I have received)!!! Any experience? What should I do?

Be patient, don't worry. I've been recieving 5-6 statements a month, they always say 0 points except for the very first statement of the month. The points as listed in that first one get credited around the 5th of the month.

Mixed payments and paypass works wonders ;)

Can you post exactly how many transactions and what the charges were?
I made a lot on Mum's bill - she hasn't mentioned anything yet!

Pages after pages of "Credit Card Payment Processing Fee Payment processed to bill number xx_xx_xx_x issued on xx-xx-2014 $0.001".

Come to think of it, this is way more than 1% of $0.01... I recall increasing some transactions to pay the whole bill before the expiry; I must have paid some $0.10 instalments.

Oh man, I just paid another Telstra bill in one go instead of setting up a macro. <tired>

Still no 10,000 points, by the way.

Checked my QF statement and some points have just been posted... not much at all, just over 3,000 but I guess it is better than nothing...

Telstra has indeed charged me 1%, even on $0.01 transactions on my latest bill.
I pay by (Telstra initiated) automatic transfer monthly and there is no CC fee imposed - this is a home phone/broadband combination.

I only get hit by fees when I do a larger payment. My 1c payments were hit with no fee but from memory my 5c ones were.
