Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

Telstra worked with the BW card via PayPal (but you only get around 10 of those before PayPal kill it) however I received the same connection error message using my Westpax Amex, so I'd say it's just a Telstra payment issue

Telstra still not working on successive attempts (one transactions goes through, and then the same error as detailed above). I wonder if it now needs some pause between successive transactions?

In the end I opted for an SA Water bill that worked with $1 successive transactions. I hope telstra works tomorrow but at least that is good news should anyone be living in SA and want to rack up some points on their BW card.

I got through one payment with Telstra on a non-BW card, but as soon as I try with either of our BW cards I'm getting the error shown above. I wonder if the issue is on the Telstra or BW side?

I had the same error with Westpac cards

Phew! Balance has been restored to the universe. Everything is back the way it was. After an initial longer than usual delay on the first transaction, all others followed in usual time.

I'm still getting the connectivity error message and haven't found a way around it yet although I got 1/2/3/4 cent transactions posted yesterday, one of each.

"Sorry, there was a connectivity issue processing your request and we're not able to confirm the payment made. Please check your email for a payment confirmation or check your bank statement to see if your payment has been processed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

is doing my head in!!!

Can't get any payments to go through

Suspect it's a Telstra website issue as I was able to get about 150 1c transactions go through last night. I was getting the same error message but getting transactions through occasionally. After about an hour I gave up as I was satisfied with approx 150.

Couldn't get anymore than 50 transactions on each card through over the weekend ( even though online account showing three days of 'pending authorisation' )
I think BW may have 'worked it out' and covered the gaps ...

Rick, 50 per card is basically what everyone else is getting.

Refresh method with telstra is dead, same transaction number comes up every time, I also get an error if I try to submit the same amount as another payment in the last 24 hours.
logging into 'my account' I am able to manually do multiple $0.01 transactions no problem, also I am able to do non-login paypal $0.01 multiple payments but all manual.
does anyone have a macro that can work while in the account? I can't seem to get one to work as I usually used the macro for the refresh method.

Cheers.

My macro fills out the form and then I manually click the confirm payment button. I then do this over and over scrolling between up to a dozen open windows. By the time I have done all windows the first payment is complete and ready to start again.

I have been getting many of the connection errors but I have been able to get through all payments as normal but has taken longer. It's an inconvenience but nothing more at this stage. I think it's probably a website issue which will be fixed in time.

Other than Telstra and Coles/Woolies... has anyone found any other online options for this? I'm even happy to throw the money away really.

Telstra still not working today.. managed one transaction when I got home from work today but otherwise the error is still coming up.
Anyone else having the same problem?

My fix for now is to log into the account, make a 0.01 payment then at the payment screen press back, you get a (are you sure you want to reload this page screen) hit refresh, click 'yes' for duplicate payment then click back again, rinse and repeat.
your refreshing it manually but will get you up to 50 until we work something out.

Also is there a way to lock a thread so only people with say 100 posts or more can view?
It could be irritating starting to find more loopholes that get slowly plugged up because telstra/bank staff can read our posts...

I think this is a good idea. No reason that view access to this forum couldn't be restricted to just contributing (or even paid) members. Giving away the tips and tricks used is only begging for the holes to be plugged.
