Hi All,

We are taking the family to Singapore and have an infant and child on an A330 flight in Y. I understand the first row in economy (26ish) has a bassinet & the seats have fixed armrests. Does anyone have experience in the other Bassinet row (42ish)? Are the armrests fixed?

We'd love to use the bassinet but we have a seat for our infant and would like to be able to let our 2 year old sleep on the seats.

Any other advice from those who have flown with Children (Besides Don't :)) would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Rob

From memory you may have the same issue in Row 46 as what you do in Row 23, but you are pushing my memory a bit.

One other issue to consider is that row 23 has bugger all leg room if you are 6 foot and over. Not so much of an issue on the way there as it is a day flight, but if you hope to get any sleep at all on the way home and you think you can get away without needing the bassinet then my advice is to stay away from row 23. I can't comment on row 42.... I've never been that far back ;).

From memory both bassinet rows are bulkheads with fixed armrests.
