Belated hello, and thanks!

This is a bit of a belated introduction, but nonetheless...

11 months ago I was a nobody flyer, and for quite a while before that I was but a noob lurking around here, cautiously soaking up the info. Now have made VA Platinum + newly-minted *A Gold (via O6), and most importantly, am really enjoying flying now! Almost all my trips are personal, but even the work flights are less of chore and more of an adventure now.

So thanks to all of you for your advice and uh, encouragement to maximise — not to mention the humour. I'm sure I'll regret all of that the day I have to rediscover that planes are long and extend beyond row 3, while cutting up a bunch of credit cards.
