I got too much time on my hands now while in Brisbane and looking for work (its killing me already because when I'm bored I buy cough online... like an $89 BNE-PER flight I just booked for November minutes ago) but anyway, I'm wondering what would be the wiser option for me to spend my miles on before leaving Australia....

Option 1: fly Brisbane to Noumea, New Caledonia... 24,000 miles + $262 cash dates, flexible.

Option 2: fly Brisbane to Melbourne for Christmas and Melbourne to Sydney in time for my return flight to LAX... roughly 24,000 miles + cash... this is for December 20 to December 27th Christmas time.

What do you think?

wish I PM'd you two weeks ago when I was there and bored out of my mind!

this time I'll be going to the V8 Supercar race, hopefully... I'll PM you closer to the date...

yeah well this year is the only year i'm here so might as well..

I have just missed it a few times... when I first came to OZ I missed the Australian Grand Prix, then V8's at Sandown Park, Gold Coast, Sydney... might as well do this one.

Yep, agreed!

How long are you in PER for? Hopefully someone else will be going to the V8's as it can be a bit of a hike to get out there by taxi..
