Apart from the Westpac 14 months 0% offer - what others are around?

NAB 0% 15 months. Fee is $35.

It doesn't get much better than that!

My idiot ex-housemate has about $20k of credit card debt spread across several high interest cards. He pays thousands and thousands of dollars of interest every year (barely makes more than the minimum payment each month) but keeps these cards because they have rewards programs that are pointless to him (he doesn't spend much on them because they're so close to their limits). If he transferred just 10k to this NAB card offer he would save almost $3,000 interest over 15 months but does he do this? No! He would argue he doesn't earn (measly) points so there's no point saving $3k! He could take that 3k and buy far more points than he would earn keeping the rewards program!

He doesn't have to get rid of the points earning card - just move the balance and keep purchasing on the points earning card. Like you said, saving $3k.

So do I get caught by the "in conjunction with any other NAB CC offer" clause because I already have a NAB card, even though I won't be doing a BT between NAB cards?

Sorry, I can't answer that one. I wasn't a NAB customer at all when I applied. Worth a phone call I reckon.

What documents do they normally require for a balance transfer?
Do they just require a payout figure letter from current card, or a copy of statement or both?

I am thinking about doing the ANZ balance transfer %0

I didn't have to provide any documents for the NAB CC balance transfer offer. I applied on-line and they requested the usual information (salary, assets, outgoings etc.). I was approved within 60 seconds of completion. YMMV.

I'm guessing the application tracks back to Veda or some such and I haven't had any changes for probably 12 months or so.

ANZ just asked how much I wanted to bpay out and the biller code (I paid citibank) no evidence required

I have done lots of balance transfers and they have never asked for anything, they just want to know how much you want to transfer and who from!

Some really good balance transfers offers currently even for existing customers.

ANZ is 0% for 15 months and Citibank 0% for 3 months. This one has been around for a while and just keep re-using it after 3 months.

For existing cardholders? Seriously? Hope I get that on Citi Signature fee free for life after the 0% for 6 months expires!

Have you checked or called them?

I keep receiving the 0% balance transfer offer for 6 months but with a 2% balance transfer fee. Why not just offer a 1.99% balance transfer for 6 months? And everytime I look on website or call them there is also a 3 month 0% balance transfer offer on my account.
