Sorry guys if this has been asked. I have search but to no avail....

I usually have my favourite 744 seats 4A/K (F) and a 16A/K (J) allocated. I am on QF 31 3 times in the next month and wondered if anyone had a view on the best F and J seats.

Cheers (and thanks in advance)

This thread came at the right time. :D If my J upgrade comes through on Sunday, I won't have time to request a seat so I'll have to ask for something on check-in...row 12 sounds like a good one. :)

Cheers,
- Febs.

Just conf. 2 x seats on J LAX - SYD a380 (after my AMEX bonanza).

Row 12 sounds good. Is it also good for a couple travelling together? ? ?

JWAK,

Have you flown any of those flights yet to report back on the seats? I've just booked my first A380 flight and have been allocated 1A, but I'd be very interested to know where you ended up and what you'd recommend as a result.

I sat in seat 4A on the 380 - I was on QF's inaugural on 16JAN SYD-SIN. My upgrade from J to F amazingly came through - that was really unexpected.

We all got a limited edition book by Marc Newsome 'Design by Flight' to celebrate the occasion. On arrival in SIN we got special comemorative luggage tags from Changi Airport.

Flew back on EK's inaugural DXB-SYD in First - blew me away. Had the shower on board which was nice. Next A380 trip is 27APR SIN-SYD on QF32 - upgrade request on this flight too.
