Looking for the best Mastercard/Visa to Maximise Points. Current Cards are:

Commonwealth Diamond Amex - 1.5 QFF on all $ spend (including ATO). Maximum 500k QFF. Will hit Max on this card.

American Express Platinum Card/Reserve Card - Most other spend where Amex accepted - Convert to SPG or SPG->AA Will hit max

And ?????

The MC/Visa needs to have no limit to rewards program and good partners to transfer to (doesn't need to be QFF).
Bonus points on overseas would be nice.
Already have lounges/hotel/dining/Insurance etc covered.
Annual fees and income limits are not a concern.

TIA

I second that Prestige is a great card especially if annual fee is not a barrier and will free up capacity on other ATO friendly cards like CBA Diamond.

Thanks guys. Looks perfect. Is there a referral program?

Should I go to QFF or one of the others?

No referral program that I know of. General wisdom is to sign up for QFF first so your signup is paid in QFF points then switch to Citi Rewards points which are more versatile if you want to earn non QFF points. Otherwise QFF earn rate is 1 for 1 but there are a number of cheaper Visa offering 1:1 already - but with caps.

Depends on your preference - the non QFF program gives you more options for airline partners but if you already fly QF then that may be better.

If you can get the fee free for life citi signature then pay the $49 fee for QFF or 1 to 1 for Virgin and Singapore requires no extra payment

IF you have to pay the fee they're offering 60K QFF miles to help offset the $349 fee.

Personally I value a SQ mile at nearly double a QFF one, and if the USA is somewhere you like to visit then VA have a lot more J award availability than QF, with no fuel taxes so a few less miles and $$$ on a reward seat you can actually book.

SQ award availability in J is far superior to QF as well, and requires significantly less miles too, especially when you factor in the 15% online booking discount. SYD to JFK in F with SQ was around 120K miles but QFF wanted 196K, and the only way was to fly EK which seems to be very hit and miss in terms of onboard service compared to QF or SQ F.

Combining the Signature card with an Amex Edge, where the free flight more than pays for the annual fee, allows me to build up miles very quickly, and I'm using a NAB Virgin premium card for the travel insurance and 1.5 points per $ spent. This combo is costing me just $20 this year.
