Best option for one way Perth to Dublin late Feb 2014

Hi there,

Just after some advice for flights for my pregnant wife to fly one way Perth to Dublin in late Feb 2014.

I would like to get her into either Business or First so she can be a bit more comfortable.

Have looked at options like buying AA points and redeeming for First fare.. can get flights around 17/18th and works out to about $2.5k + fees and taxes (give or take)

Are there any other methods I could try or any good deals going at the moment?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'd be doing that. With the promotion that just started you can buy 78,000 AA points for $1,650 + fees. You could then buy SPG points and transfer to cover the remaining 2,000.
