Will be in France for a few weeks and would like to know best deal for iPhone 5 with say 3 gig data?

Was in Canada recently and better than pre-paid. Just signed up for a cancellable post paid activated it and two days later lodged the cancelation notice for the thirty day notice period . Worked a treat for the trip!!

I've heard this one is ok
http://www.lefrenchmobile.com/

I had difficulty getting a French SIM a few years ago due to non residents not being able to sign up to the good value plans.

I had a "lefrenchmobile" recently. Order it over the net and it's posted to your Australian address. Your number is allocated the first time you use it so you can't advise people prior to arriving in France. Also need the serial number which is printed on the sim itself to activate it. Finally (a government requirement) you have to send a proof of identity within 15 days of first use, otherwise it will self-cancel.

Once through all that I found it pretty good. Cheap as chips and good coverage. The online help desk was excellent.

I went into an Orange dealer at Les Halles in Paris and picked up a local SIM with data that I used for 6 weeks in France. You can buy recharge cards at any tabac throughout the country.

Thanks guys will arrive Wednesday. So will report once u get sorted in Paris.

Hi Infinity, I'm heading to France for two weeks next month. What SIM did you end up with? Steve.

Each time I've been there I've got an orange sim for 20 euro which is 5 days of data.
Last time was cple months ago.

don't bother with any smaller MVNO operators or any where u need to buy the sim online - it's 5mins in a store and you're done.
