Best site for overseas Europcar bookings

Hi
I've just been looking into booking a number of rentals in Spain and UK for later in the year. Given the VA Status match, I was keen to use Europcar if possible, mainly for the free additional driver.
Found that the SQ site was significantly cheaper than VA and Europcar's own. (Finnair was even cheaper but was via third party and I wasn't confident of benefits and no usable points)
Has anyone found anything better?
I think points will still credit to VA which is a bonus (but not too bad if go to SQ obviously)

Doing another booking on the Standard Europcar site: found that I didn't get the offer discount for bookings in Spain when first logged in with Privilege number but did when booking without. Could then enter my Privilege number afterward and found I could keep the same guaranteed discounted rate (in Euros) but not have to pay up front-result.
