Best time to book tickets to USA

I'm planning a trip to the USA for 4 weeks next September. We will be flying Mel - NY on Sep 8 or 15 and return Orlando - Mel 4 weeks later.
Any suggestions on the time to book tickets and is Webjet reliable? I'm happy to book everything via the web, but I just want to be sure I don't make any mistakes.
