Hey I thought a useful thread might be the best value Hilton properties. Value is relative/subjective of course but I'm talking lowest average rates with the best amenities (eg. Sydney has an amazing Exec lounge with a great "coughtail hour") and the most likely to give upgrades.

For me Hilton Sydney, Hilton Cairns and Hilton Athens have been the best value with the Hilton London Kensington being the worst. What about you?

Best value I've had (in terms of cheapest rate) is BNE. One stay we had a suite upgrade, exec lounge and full buffet breakfast for 3 for about $80 from memory. Parking is the downside with it being pretty expensive at $55 IIRC.

Conrad HK is my favourite in terms of value. Initially booked two nights (base room upgraded to suite), and when enquired about extending for a further two days the EL Manager gave me a 20% discount on the cheapest available rate. Did this twice and happy with the outcome

In terms of upgrade success, HOTP and HSW without a doubt, both at 100% success rate.

My success rate with Hilton Sydney is poor and the rate is usually pretty high.

Sydney? Amazing?

They don't belong in the same sentence. I think it's a terrible exec lounge (and a terrible hotel). Life's too short to drink ****ty wine that costs $4 a bottle especially in Sydney when there are so many amazing bars around.

Domestically HSW is my favourite exec lounge, and HOTP being the best for upgrades (I have 100% suite upgrade rate at HOTP).

In our region, Queenstown is my favourite Hilton.

I'm staying at Hilton Perth for 115$ per night for 3 nights this weekend. That's great value for money IMO.
Life is good in the west :)

Methinks they made their money during the week ;)

FWIW From my limited experience, the DT in KL for $90 a night getting a suite with lounge access as the best value I have received, just a pity scotch was one of the few spirits not on offer.
