Been lurking since 2006 but never thought the need to say hello, until now.

I'm extremely indebted to this forum. It's taught me ways to game the system and fly in comfort. I came to this country on a rickety old boat (in the days when it wasn't illegal) and assumed that would be the class of travel for me. My have I been wrong - thanks largely to this forum.

My main target - simply because of ease - is American Express. In the last 8 months alone, I've relieved them of 355,000 velocity points, 155,000 membership rewards and 6 domestic flights. Plus I've saved my self about $200 from various offers. And all for $1096. For anyone who thinks you can't hold different amexs and still claim bonii, think again. I've even applied for the same card twice in the same week (the platinum edge) and received twice the bonus!

I went to Mexico City in March in J, I'm off to Bangkok next month in J and I have Rio booked in F next February. My aim is to go on points-funded holidays every 6-months for as long as this caper continues. And I couldn't have done any of it without your tips and advice.

I promise my next post won't take another 10-years!

Hi there, good not to rush things. I'm not sure how you had the control not to post.

Cheers
Matt
