Like to use credit card to betting agency to place bets.
Which in turn earn frequent flyer points with Qantas, Virgin or any other program.
Have got a Woolworths Everyday rewards credit card which was earning points but as of last statement will no longer be earning ponts for these transaction.
Any help appreciated:confused::confused::confused:

Betting on credit, regardless of your cash account balance or how you pay the card off every month is a dangerous road to be heading down'.

I presume the op is aware of the normal hazards of betting on credit. And no, I do not judge them especially since I've seen some very elaborate schemes to earn points via betting (hence why many banks have cracked down)

Let me know if this is too much info and I'll take it down.

On a DJ AMEX or Platinum Edge go buy a virtual visa card at a 7-11 or BP petrol station. Use that to fund your account.

yes, but, putting money onto an account through a credit card, then withdrawing the funds to a non-credit card could certainly prove fruitful!

i thought you had to withdraw as a refund to your credit card up to the value spent, before you can withdraw by other means

When I lived in SA you could never buy SA Lotteries tickets on credit. I was shocked a newsagent in WA let me pay for lotto purchases on credit (Mastercard)

Not sure aussie... I would not have thought that all betting companies were the same though? Esp. given that they operate in so many different jurisdictions?

Has anyone done this with a betting agency, and which one? I think all of them require you to scan a copy of your credit card and email it to them before they will let you withdraw any winnings from a new card.

They are ok with these virtual cards?

I would be more interested if these cards were re-loadable, but having to purchase a new card all the time could be a PIA with having to scan and send it in to the them all the time. The maximum amount they can hold is only $1000.

Using paypal is not an option?

I loaded some money onto a site using paypal to avoid having to send in a copy of my cc scan (just another hassle) but I am pretty certain I've used my credit card as the funding source on that transaction.
