Not a lot wrong with the hotel itself- sort of a "nearly but not quite there" grading from me. However the disaster was that for nearly a week,, I couldn't access AFF on the hotel free wifi. Through the iPad, neither the app nor Safari would do it, nor would the hotel's own public computers. Imagine the horror of being out of contact , not even a joke from foreigner in the mail.

I'm now on Virgin's (yes I do use Virgin occasionally) rolling Pendolino and all is well. Now for 3 hors of catching up!
