The Best and Worst Airlines and Airports of 2018

A friend sent me this link, trying to make the point that Qantas is cough. But then I looked at the list, and some of those airlines shouldn't make the 'best' in any list.

anyone else think the premise and criteria for this ranking is a bit ridiculous?

It's like saying "my uber driver picked me in a car with 3 wheels , ran over a few people and played EDM the whole ride. But there was free water and skittles! 5 stars."

Thought Bloomberg was somewhere for serious news.

Every one of these rankings is flawed.

Now I haven't ever been to DOH, but from what people tell me who have and don't have access to QR lounges, it's terrible and you have to sit on the floor because there aren't enough seats. Something you certainly shouldn't see at the "best" airport in the world

Hmmm....should i be skeptical seeing as the ranking appears to have been coordinated by an airline compensation business?

DOH isn't the best airport I've been in, although it does have its pluses. Mainly very efficient transit security and fairly easy to get around, which given its main business is connecting passengers, are pretty important items to get right. If you are just doing a 1.5 - 2 hour transit on your way to somewhere else, it works reasonably well, I think.

Would agree that if you don't have lounge access, the charm seems to fade a bit after that. Limited seating and very expensive food and drink (I think it was $7+ for a cappuccino when I was there in May), Not really much to do (without spending money) besides look out the window either. This is where SIN really shines. Lots of free seating and activities and plenty of humanely priced dining places to choose from. Possibly a difference in viewpoints? SIN still sees passengers as people to serve rather than wallets with legs?

Everyone will judge airlines and airports in what is important.

I mean some people choose airlines based on whether they serve caviar and the type of champagne served. Seriously?
