Not quite as good as the last promo but good none the less, and for my money, better than the US DM promos, due to the possibility of 1 way awards.

Buy or gift miles | Fly bmi

Offer on until the ides of March (15th).

Slightly OT but if DC is merged to then BA programme on a 1:1 ratio then does this perhaps give a good way of getting OW award flights cheaply, albeit having to wait out the merger.

Still a good promotion as you say for one way awards.

Not sure BMI miles will transfer to BA at 1:1.

Unbelievably this is back! So if someone wants they can do a MEL-BKK-MEL return in J for about $1300 from scratch, you just have to book it before the end of May when BMI leaves Star Alliance. A bit annoyed as it was only about 2 weeks ago that I loaded up on miles and bought tickets to Japan could have saved a bit on 2 tickets!

I got it as well, now to quickly buy up and try and snag an SQ flight to EWR for peanuts.

BMI is great. As I said I will really miss BMI.

Need to look at the feasibility but unfortunately all travel until January next year is booked and I can live with deferring some costs until later in the year to book next years travel....

They definitely do. Check both BA & BD web sites. Also DC miles are cheaper than AVIOS even before the bonus(DC = GBP 255 for 20000 + 4000 bonus, AVIOS = GBP 335 for 20000).
