BNE Dinner & Drinks 25/28 September

Coming up this Friday 25 September is an invitation for any BNE-based members of those passing through BNE to have a drink and enjoy some fine German food at the Brisbane German Club as part of Oktoberfest celebrations, held each year at the club. I'll be getting there early (1730+) for some German food and a jug or two of beer. There is a cover charge, but it's a nice venue with plenty of entertainment.

I have an airport pickup early the next day so wont be staying out too late this year!

Following this weekend, there will be drinks at Mick O'Malley's Irish Pub on Queen Street, Monday the 28th. When we met for drinks earlier this month we participated in a game of trivia, and ended up winning a $30 bar voucher that we intend to use. Drinks will again presumably start around 1730+.

As always, all are welcome to attend. If you are considering coming, it's always good to post here so we know to look out for you or tell you who to look for

The website suggests $5 with a membership that then lasts to 2018! Not sure if that's correct though.

Oktoberfest was good, only spent $70 this year!

I think boomy enjoyed the experience too. Shame more couldn't have joined, it is a lot of fun.

It was good fun, can't go wrong with German beer and food. The entertainment was interesting
