TRAVELLERS will be slugged a $2 "taxi drop-off fee" at Brisbane Airport from tomorrow morning in a move set to net Brisbane Airport Corporation an extra $4 million a year.
Since completion of the Brisbane domestic terminal's road system there has been one pick-up road for taxis, one drop-off road for taxis and buses, and one pick-up and drop-off road for the general public – otherwise known as Roads One, Two, and Three.
From 1am tomorrow only taxis registered with BAC and willing to pay the $2 fee will be allowed to drop off passengers on Road Two.
