$4999 during school holiday periods (except Dec).
Royal Brunei. Available via Flight Centre only (Expo Fare) until 11MAR.

Free stopover in BWN. DXB add $75. No STPC in BWN if long connection, but very reasonable hotel rates available.

Ex SQ 777 aircraft with almost lie-flat seats.

Good price but it is a dry airline.

Cause this is an ex SQ 777 does it use SQ's old space beds?

I saw this on Twitter and due to the tags thought it was QF, so rushed to the thread and now see it's not QF and even a grand more :(

Friend of mine did it in whY and he had the shortest connections possible and still was over 27 hours to London. That is a long time on a dry airline :p

I think the seats are the old space beds.

Alcohol: RBA is BYO! Only sector you can't consume your own Duty Free is BWN-BNE, but miniatures are OK- this is an Australian DOTARS rule about liquids.
Many comments about being dry, does being served a drink warrant an extra few thou?

I'm lucky enough to get special fares on QF/BA (as they are booked ex Europe) so I actually pay less then this special BI fare for my trips (around 3500 for J round trip).
I have never flown or seen the BI hard product either so can't comment on that but for me the fact that it is almost 4 hours longer then a one stop via BKK or SIN is worth a bit (and then the drink is a nice addition to soften the trip  )

If you like this one then look at EVA air from BNE for $4399. One stop to a few cities in Europe via TPE.

Seats are very similar to QF skyslopes and the SQ's old space beds.
