BNE-MNL with SQ $742 RTN March 2015

Just casually scoping out some travel plans for next year. I notice that fares through SIN to MNL can be had in March for $742 (with fares just to SIN same dates being sold for $1,042)

Dates do seem to be specific, need to leave on or after 2 Mar and return before April school holidays period. (There may be later returns but I wasn't searching after that.)

No refunding, No rebooking allowing. Iti may not suit all business travellers.

Whilst double the sale fare, it isn't horrible for a flexi.

It is going to be so difficult to get status with *Alliance with those sorts of earn rates.
