Hi all. I had no idea this forum existed.

I am hoping for some advice on a Fare for 2 adults and 2 kids departing BNE to Wales / UK on 3rd or 4th April 2012, returning end May 2012.

Hoping for the shortest flight with 1 or 2 stops BUT, need arrive in the morning in Wales so am thinking about a 6 - 10 am arrival in either London, Birmingham, Bristol or preferably Cardiff.

Money is a factor (isn't it always). I saw some KLM flights for a great price on Bestflights.com.au (think it was about $6200.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids) BUT it was a killer 46 hours travel time with about 12 hours in Kuala Lumpur. I just can't put my kids through that as they will probably kill me en-route so looking at about 25-30 hour travel time if possible.

Rather not fly with Air China or anyone similar as I do want to arrive at the other end. :)

Not much to ask is it? :D

Suggestions appreciated.

Peter

Hi spinifex,

Welcome to AFF. :D

Yesterday I booked flights for a friend from MEL-MAN with V Australia (flying Etihad) and it was about $1800. I just looked it up for your situation and it comes to $6567 so a bit dearer but certainly a lot quicker. Flights are via Abu Dhabi and are 26 hrs out and 24 hrs back.

I hope that helps a little.
