I noticed Fabulous Footwear (US chain) is selling Bogan shoes from Florsheim. I was mildly amused and naturally thought of various bogan discussions on AFF...

From the website:

You've got to dress up once in a while. When those times come, the Florsheim Bogan loafer makes it easy.

Leather upper with traditional loafer styling, elastic goring for great fit
Leather lining, cushioned footbed
Durable rubber outsole

I nominate this as the thread title of the week :)

now off to order a pair :)

Slip-ons. :) Always convenient when going through USA airport security.

On the subject of Bogan residents not far from me successfully campaigned to get their street name changed from "Bogan Place" to "Rainforest Close".

Bogan Place residents beg for name change

Wonder how many bogan households have the stolen sign on their walls?

Doesn't make sense - Bogans aren't necessarily known for their affinity for or love of rainforests. Monaro Place maybe? Hilux Place? Anyway, what about those poor suffering residents of quaint inner-west village Summer Hill who live in Bogan Street (ironically close to Sloane and Kensington Sts). I think they should put in for a change to 'Piccolo Latte Street' personally.

The shoes don't look too bad. At least they don't look like the clown shoes most shoe shops prefer to stock these days.

And I have been wearing slip-on or mocassin style shoes for a long time. Only way to travel but I learned a lesson long time ago and that was don't take shoes off on long haul flights as the shoes may not fit when you try and put them back on again.
