Hi all,

About a month ago I booked a Multi city booking for 31st March next year in Business on the following routes:
MEL-DXB(QF) > DXB-BOM(EK) > BOM-HKG(CX) > HKG-MEL(QF).

I used the book now pay later option so I can pay the $11k for the ticket in March next year ($25 holding deposit paid).

I checked my booking a few days ago and it says "Please note that the Airline has cancelled one or more of your selected flights. Please modify your reservation, or contact your travel agent for further information."

When I look further down the EK flight is cancelled from my booking, now the EK flight itself is still available for sale on the emirates site so it looks like EK want their flight ticketed within 'X' days.

The problem here is that the QF booking tool shouldn't offer me a future date to pay if all airlines in the booking don't support holding the seats for long periods of time. The CX flight is still holding.

Anyone else had this problem?
Could this be just that QF is not setup properly yet for this feature with EK, or is it a bug with our old friend the multi-city booking tool.

Update: Spoke with QF Reservations, they checked and said that EK legs will only hold for less than a month without being ticketed. The agent reinstated the EK leg, but said I will have to call every month til end of March to reinstate the flight (or if I pay sooner), not a very good way to do it!
