For the upcoming trip to PVG I have booked a J/F saver redemption for the dates I need and included a token waitlist request which gives me until 24th April for the waitlist to come through.

Hopefully this means that at anytime prior to expiry I can go back to the website and confirm the ticket as it is. I have the booked seat and have another two months to pay for it. With all of the adventures of the past few flooded weeks I want to secure the booking without having to pay for it until things are a little more certain.

What will happen if the waitlist comes through? Will I be able to decline it at that stage and stick and pay for my original booking?
