Book through TA - pay using compensation voucher

Hi all
I was wondering if anyone knew whether you could book travel on QF through a travel agent and then phone up QF and use a compensation voucher to "pay" for the travel.

Is this possible or do I need to book through QF?

On a related topic can two people be on the same booking in different cabin classes? I am planning to pay for mrssimongr (+babygr) to fly in J whilst I am in whY.

AFAIK you can't use the credit voucher through a TA, though happy to be corrected (never used one in my 8yrs as a TA)

As for the booking class question, no, they'd all need to be on the same booking class or create separate PNR's and TCP them

Simon - my partner had a compensation voucher after a problem ona long-haul flight - he simply gave the vouvher to our TA and when flying next time the TA charged fare minus voucher - no need to contact QF etc etc etc!
