Hi All,

I've been going back and forth with Qantas website and even attempted to call them a few times which was a painful experience.
I have ~525,000 points which I want to use to an upcoming trip to Europe.
We are looking at leaving in August, flexible on dates and entry locations
Coming home, would like the Rome to Sydney on QF9

My main goal is to fly either Premium or business by upgrading, guaranteed upgrade, not awaiting 24hrs beforehand.
I've done the Multi-City section on their website which isn't intuitive and doesn't' allow different options.

Does anyone know or experienced best way to book flights (happy to pay for economy) and upgrade using points for Multi-City Flights?
I don't even mind flying a partner airline like Qatar which I have tried to look at by using the "Use Points" section

I just wish you could email them a set of criteria and they could accommodate, the phone service is horrendous, they just try everything to finish the call without actually doing or reviewing anything you ask

Thanks

Jason

If you are looking at August 2022, you are probably a bit late. Awards seats in premium are released, and often snatched, 11-12 months ahead, on busy period such as north hemisphere summer.

You could consider trying to use travel agencies that specialise in award booking. There is one somewhere advertised in AFF.

Offer expires: 18 Mar 2025
