Booking partner airline JAL with Asiamiles

Does anyone regularly book JAL J class SYD HND and HND-SYD ?

I was looking a couple of days ago and the attached was the availability. Looking at the same route these paste 3 days and I am getting nothing. I don't look at the route often, was it a fluke? glitch in the system that showed all these seats?
Is J class JAL ever offered on Cathay pacific?

Something funny about the second chart… it’s not true award availability. No way qantas would have had 9 business and 18 economy awards available. I don’t even know if that would have been the revenue seats available…

I have been looking at T-1 and it seems like JAL releases only F class

Managed to get one J with JAL at t-max. I still can't figure out how they are releasing the tickets.

Exactly as how you just booked it. At maximum to EVERYONE (all partners) and that's it. That being about 360days~

They don't add on any redemption rewards unless its an equipment swap. You're also searching on a route that every QFF member (including bronze) has access to and would rather book over QF itself.

As a lowly bronze on qantas, I can only see up to 17th Jan 2026 while on Cathay I can see 24th Jan. Do you know how many tickets JAL releases in J for HND - SYD route per flight?

you can see jan 24th on QF. You need to coax the engine to show it.

2x J per flight initially.
