booking QR codeshare with Iberia?

Hi all
Does anyone happen to have any recent experience with Iberia? Was ready to press go on booking J from Europe this year direct with QR, but I have today found IB offering the same flight on QR metal for almost half price! I have never flown or dealt with IB, so was hoping someone here had experience, especially with codeshares.
