Has anyone had success trying to book S7 flights directly from them?

I'm absolutely tearing my hair out trying to do it - they don't accept a bunch of credit cards, and others they need extra authorisation done on it. They do this by blocking a small amount on your card, and you have to identify how much. Problem is, they block an amount in rubles and I only see it in AUD; using xe.com for the exchange rate didn't work and now my card is blocked from use on s7. Arrrrrghhh!

I could book via jetabroard or edreams, however they are charging ~800 euro instead of the ~AUD$366 showing on the s7 site.

Any advice? Conversely, anyone who has a russian card want to buy my ticket for me?!

I'll reply to myself now!

I filled in the online feedback form provided, and very quickly (within the hour) got an email back asking for the last 4 digits of my credit card and the amount blocked. Sent that and they manually verified that. So great online service there!

PEK-IKT here I come!
