It appears to me after some dummy bookings that to book Sydney to Fiji, one must do it through the VA website. A return booking for 6 Jan 10 and returning 9 Jan 10 via the DJ website shows Premium Economy fares much cheaper than Flexible fares, and there is no scope to book Business. I would have thought that the DJ website would have redirected to the VA website like other bookings incorporating a VA operated flight.

The fares if you make an identical booking through the VA website are completely different. May just be a bug in the system. No biggy, but I do find it handy to search from one website (ie DJ).

It's not going to redirect to VA because DJ operate NAN flights of their own from several ports in Aus.

I would have thought that other Australian ports to NAN would not have been redirected and shown as a Pac Blue operated flight, but SYD-NAN would have been redirected.

As it currently stands, SYD-NAN with a DJ code and VA operation, the fares do not seem to make sense. For example, one way to NAN on a Corporate Plus fare is $729, and I would assume this would be in VA's Economy. One-way on Premium Economy is only $584, and I assume this would be in VA's Premium Economy. There is no scope at all to book Business, so you have manually go to the VA website to do this.

It just appears the automation has gone, and therefore so has the ability to book any DJ Group flight from the DJ website.
