I know there has been discussions about this thread subject in the past but cannot seem to find them. It may have been covered in one of the news articles that @Mattg publishes. Basically I need to get a small number of VA points added to my account and would just like to do do a little research to understand if it is possible to add a VA booking to an exisiting SQ PNR. Just trying to work out if I should send the points to VA and make the booking direct or to SQ and if possible add the VA flight to an existing SQ PNR.

It would be appreciated if someone would kindly provide the link to recent discussions on this subject.

You can redeem KrisFlyer miles to book Virgin flights, but only on a separate ticket. It is not possible to have VA & SQ award flights on the same PNR.

There was a similar question recently here:

@Mattg thanks I knew I had seen something recently and I was searching in the wrong thread. Thanks.

It is possible to have VA and SQ awards or even VA and star alliance awards on separate tickets in the same PNR but it needs to be done over the phone.

Is this something that you would be able to help make happen happy to send you a PM.

The VA award needs to be issued by SQ if you want it on the same PNR as an existing SQ issued award. Is that what you're trying to do?
