Boomy and I are both in Melbourne, so we thought we would celebrate this momentous occasion with a steak and some red wine. It's a public holiday tomorrow, so most of you shouldn't have school or work to worry about, so please join us.

Pretty casual.

Venue is BYO (wine only), but also has an good wine list which is well priced.

Where:
The Olive Tree, 19 Park St, South Melbourne VIC 3205
When:
7-30pm, 25 Jan 2016 (NB - 30 min schedule change.)

You tell me this after I have already purchased a plane ticket meaning I can't make it.

I'm not ... yet.

Confirmed ... I just brought forward travel from tomorrow morning to this arvo. Land at 6:30pm, so may be a bit after 7pm.

Sounds good. Hopefully [-]Mexicana[/-] Qantas is on time.

I can push the reservation back to 7-30 or 8-00 if that gives you some headroom.

Flying to PER?

We'll have to catch up sometime in BNE then.

Great! Will be good to see you, been a while.

Enjoy! I'm not in Melbourne, looks like I'm missing the second consecutive function at the Olive Tree. :(

Whatever you like. I dare say there may be some drinks to be had from 7 ... but it will be more like 7:30 than 7 for me. I have a 2004 Mt Edelstone with me, so if I get stuck in traffic I'll have some company.

Contrary to popular belief I am capable of operating a telephone in phone mode (not just text mode).

Booking is now 7-30pm

5 pax under my name, Jess was 50:50 at last check-in.

I have made it home after giving myself an early minute. So I am now a starter.

Good to have you on board. Please note the schedule change to 7-30pm kick off.

I might be a few mins early, however likely to get stuck at the office for a while I think.

Oh, and I will bring a bottle of claret.

I don't know if I can compete with RooFlyer's bottle, but I might bring something.

Otherwise thankfully the OT has a very reasonably priced wine list, which may sway me to their house drop (if there is any left after last week :o)

I wasn't competing - just complementing. It is a school night for some of us.

And what did you get up to last week?
