I was reading about the BOQ transaction account that earns you velocity points when I came across these two credit cards available from BOQ Specialist. Important to note that currently they are only available to medical, dental or veterinary professionals, or accountants.

Our Signature card earns:
1 Velocity point for every $1 spent on eligible purchases in Australia up to 10 000 points per month and 0.625 points per $1 thereafter
1.5 Velocity points for every $1 spent on eligible international purchases
1 Velocity point for every $1 spent on eligible BOQ Specialist finance contracts
Plus, use the Signature credit card 10 times in the first two months and you'll earn 20 000 bonus Velocity Points*
Features and benefits:
Extensive international travel insurance when you purchase return tickets with your BOQ Specialist credit card.

Fees and charges:
$400 p.a.
Up to 55 days interest free
It's pretty steep at $400 p.a. but with 1 velocity point per $1 spent (up to 10k per month) I thought it was worth sharing as it's hard to find a decent earn rate with Visa nowadays. I don't really know what most of the features and benefits are - it's explained in the T&C's at the bottom of the page but since I don't qualify (work for the Government) I didn't read too much into it.
