We have had excellent claims service in the past with TID and just today they have blown me away.
We have had annual multi trip Insurance with TID for several years, renewed in about December each year.
My long dreamt of trip to Alaska was booked almost a year ago. We are due to travel in 3 months time. Last week, completely out of the blue, I developed DVT in my neck - very rare and also not related to travel.
I still have a few hurdles to jump, but I fully expected to have to cancel my trip as I didnt think I would be covered should I be able to travel.
Today they have just advised me that they will cover me in the USA for any recurrence!
Now, Doctors, please let me go.....
