... and i noticed that ANZ/ VA joint service tickets are due to go on sale tomorrow and the VA web site now has a nice "operated by Air New Zealand" logo on the bookings page. I suspect we will see an announcement of some kind tomorrow?

... Hopefully with some more news on Velocity Plat and the general velocity revamp and the missing IFE. Although those last bits are wishful thinking.

He was here in July last year for Virgin Money, so I think it's related to that but if its here he might as well announce platinum

I remember boarding a plane to LAX and he was on the plane flying out as well, shook everyone's hand as they boarded then got on the PA as well.

I received an invitation this week from DJ to attend a function next week in Brisbane - they seemed to be announcing something big and promoting their new changes (guessing that would include their new SQ and NZ partnerships)... although if it turns our that Branson was at the function to announce Platinum, I will be quite disappointed, as I don't finish work until after it will have finished haha!

i have been told he was in Sydney at the crew hotel on wed night for state of origin, and was told he flew to Sunshine coast today to spend some time at his island in Noosa, Makepeace Island

Hope so....but we seem to have had to sit out the weekend first. Let's see what the upcoming week brings (maybe more toilet paper )
