Sounds like I should be there :D. All sorts of OzFest folk coming into town!!
Was just this morning thinking of a drinks / dinner evening for the Tuesday 2 nights before this!
By tomorrow I'll have decided if I can do that as well, or if I'll be all socialised out !

Did I scare you off?

Nope, don’t see the point of travelling into the city midweek.
Food isn’t that great, venue is average at best and I can’t have a drink and drive home. ..... and no, I don’t really do public transport. (lol)
However, don’t let me dampen any one else’s spirits.
Have fun.

We were there for about 45 min last night. Noisy with an awful band!

This is the 24 hour reminder, no its not like an airline where you check in, so you can turn up late.

A reminder that you will need a photo ID to enter the premises.

....and they check that you look like your photo as someone with a dodgy licence photo found out a couple of weeks ago.

Are there any surprise guests or is that a surprise?

Please note that ID won't be required unless you enter after 10PM.

Drinking venues are getting stricter so if they think you are under age or have any reason not to like you they can ask for ID and not serve you, so can be handy to have it.

In January, the Queensland Government announced that they wouldn't be going ahead with 1am curfews, the second component of their most recent lockout plan. Instead, they embraced the idea of ID scanners to record and store the details of all patrons entering venues in the state's 15 entertainment precincts — or Safe Night Precincts. In order to trade past midnight and serve drinks until 3am, nightclubs and other watering holes in the designated areas now have capture the IDs of every customer that stops by after 10pm.
