Hi Everyone,
I heard Virgin does have A330 flying from Brisbane to Fiji, but could not seem to find any though. All plane servicing this route seem to be Boe 737?
Has A330 been withdraw from this route. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

There are several Article on internet showing Virgin is using A330 for this route since 2016, cant post link since only rookie.

Hi lucky777,

Welcome to AFF. :D

The only A330 that I am aware of flying to Fiji on a regular basis is Fiji Airways from Sydney. The articles I have read indicate that VA do use the 330 from SYD, MEL and BNE during periods of high demand. I/we travel to Fiji about twice per year and have yet to see the VA A330s on the route. Having said that we do try to avoid the busy periods.

I have seen it scheduled, from memory it was on a Sunday return. Not midweek at all. I think SYD had it every weekend a while back.

We're flying to Fiji in September on the A330 from Brisbane. VA175 on the Sunday is the A330 flight during peak times. Whether that lasts now that HKG flights are on is another thing.

It gets rotated in on weekends during school holidays typically ex-BNE or SYD.

This may change now HKG is on the menu.....
