Hi guys, I am looking at needing to fly to London in February and would prefer J and the chance to top up VA SC's. Problem is I don't want to pay outright for J.
Looking at options for the best bang for buck. Booking Y+ maybe and using points to upgrade to J via SQ? I currently only really have VA points but can convert so rewards to Krisflyer or Etihad if needed. also there is at worst the option to buy some. Thinking maybe $2800 plus points. I can't seem to find any great options at the moment.

Europe Early Birds will start at the end of this month / early next month. Last year SQ had $5k return.

ok well that sounds like a good option, will keep an eye open for them.

"Book online and travel by 30 June 2017 to receive up to a 10% discount and when you pay with your American Express Card."

So I'm assuming that's a typo?

Yes. That is a typo. Valid until next year...

Not getting much change out of $7K at the moment so might have to consider points upgrades.
