A recent trip to one of the most visually stunning places I have ever visited, just had to post a few of my favorite shots. If you have the opportunity, don't miss it.hoodoo panorama (1 of 1) Cheryl Edit.jpgBryce Final Edit-2.jpgbryce-1.jpgBryce Panorama.jpg

Agreed. The Geology of that part of Utah is spectacular. Did you go to Zion National Park too?

I was just googling this today to check out how far it is from Vegas.
pictures look great, I think I will add this to our itinerary

Cheers,

Fantastic - I was there in September and went to Zion and Grand Canyon as well - Trip report is coming

Went to Zion in September. Drove from Yosemite to Vegas and Zion via Death Valley. Stunning scenery ! Hiked The Narrows and Observation Point. Highlight of the 3 week US trip.

Utah is an amazing state for national parks, and incredible scenery. Bryce and Zion are particularly incredible.

Don't forget Monument Valley, a bit further east on the boundary of Utah and Arizona.

Yes we saw all 3, sadly 5 people died the day before we arrived at Zion in a flash flood in a box canyon. Mother nature is spectacular but she can be vicious as well.

A few of Zion , unfortunately we ran out of time, would have loved to spend more time here. Never say never.Zion & surrounds (5 of 145).jpgZion & surrounds (31 of 145).jpgZion & surrounds (140 of 145).jpg

Thanks Major, a couple are in production to be hung on the walls. It is a stunning place to visit, all my wife could originally say about Bryce was WOW.

Thanks for the photos, they are stunning. We are also thinking about some of these locations for our next trip.

Zion is not to be missed. Here is the view from observation point. 01446511909.jpg

Seritonin is that the climb at the end of the road where you turn around...IIRC it was called Temple of Something??
I could have stayed there longer, only time for a drive thru.

Bryce was good too, they were snow capped when I was there.
Monument Valley, Horsehoe Bend, Sedona and Yosemite are worth a look as well.
But you nearly always run out of time.

Observation point is the longest climb overlooking angels landing.. Starting from weeping rock. I think you meant temple of sinawawa which is the start of the narrows track

Some very impressive scenery for sure. And a hotbed of paleontological research. Call me nerdy but if I was going to that part of the world I would be doing all I could to join in on some dinosaur fossil hunting.
