Hi, we are transiting on J fares from CDG thru Singapore for a couple of hours and then on to Syd, are there showers in the club lounge as in the Q lounge?

cheers

If you turn right after the entrance desk then keep going past the buffet then go right again in front of the waterfall feature you will find them. They can get busy depending on the time so check as soon as you arrive.

Whoops, just read further replies - the above relates to the QF J lounge, not SQ!

lol if you had said no then the waterfall feature might have been the place for a quick tub - thanks.:p

sure is.

There is a lady just near the shower area and she will offer you a towel and also an amenity pack if you need it.

When i used them in May it was after a very big night with some mates in SIN so very much needed.

this time with SA, last time I was with Q, and had a nice relaxing shower in the Q club between flights last trip, not been in the Kris Flyer Lounge in Singapore, first J flight with them, hence the question, so a nice hot shower before the last leg home after 6 weeks away will be lovely since we are not stopping over. Thanks for your help again all.

I think some (all?) of the previous replies were regarding the QF lounge.
But the answer is still yes, just be sure to go to the Silverkris rather than Krisflyer Gold lounge

SQ business class lounge is very nice and there is a shower attendant who ensures each shower cubicle is refreshed so there is soap/towels/toothbrushes and everything you need except for deodorant.
My family has commented on how nice the food, drinks, showers and computers are in their lounge.

so there are two lounges? We are otw back from Paris in J class and have approx 2 hrs on the ground in Singapore before onforwarding to Syd, so make sure we ask for directions to the Silver Kris Lounge and not the Krisflyer Gold Lounge - i'm presuming they are in different terminals?

There are two Krisflyer lounges in SIN that I have used. One is smaller and it has the Gold lounge just before you get to it.

The one I used this morning is the bigger one in T3, with lots of seating, self service food and drinks.

Regarding the showers, the WC is separate, unlike QF's. The attendant kindly locked my shower with my hand luggage and personal belongings whilst I finished business in the WC!

Free WiFi is a bonus. No pw needed. Was able to make several Skype calls.

That may have been me as I did not see the forum this thread was posted. I have since removed the post.

Is the Silverkris the better lounge of the 2? I will be flying out on TG in business class in a couple of weeks time and just trying to work out which lounge I will be visiting before the flight.

I seem to recall posts on AFF mentioning that the KrisFlyer gold lounge is an inferior lounge and does not have shower facilities. Not that I would need a shower in the morning as I would be arriving straight from the hotel.

JohnK the 2 lounges I have been going to are the business and first lounges depending on the ticket I have for the next part of my journey with SQ. I have zero status but with the ticket/boarding pass you get access regardless of whether you redeemed points or paid real money for it.
The lounge that I have been using is in Terminal 3 and both are quite lovely with comfortable seats, good food and drinks,Internet and a very good business work area. I think it is called Silver Kris and I am confident you will be happy with the facilities there.

I would have thought TGs lounge in T1 would have been the logical choice as the only Star lounge in that Terminal?

Does TG fly out of T1? I wasn't aware or don't remember. I guess I will find out sometime next week.

Trying to remember where left luggage is located. I remember Mal telling me but I have forgotten. I will be arriving on SQ on Friday and leaving on TG on Monday and don't want to take my luggage and golf clubs with me as I will be hotel hopping in Geylang all 3 nights.
