Busan to Osaka Business

Hi,

Apart from Skypass points, is there any other way to secure flights on Korean Air flights using points? I believe they codeshare this route with JAL, was hoping to redeem QFF points but apparently this cannot be done, does anyone know if that is correct?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, fares between Korea and Japan are so expensive given the distance!

You should be able to redeem points through any SkyTeam program, or any other Korean Air partner. Other partners include Emirates and Etihad Airways.

Alaska Airlines is also a partner, and miles in their program can be bought. But Busan-Osaka is not an allowable routing for AS redemptions.

You won't be able to redeem QFF points on this route as none of the airlines flying between Busan and Osaka are Qantas partners. JAL may be a QF partner, but they are not the operating airline in this case.
