Finally off to South America Syd-Santiago Chile. Qantas has only just reopened this route. Does anyone know about amenities? PJs? Slippers? Thanks

You will be offered PJs. QF doesn’t offer slippers in business… bring your own if required. Amenity kit with shades, sox, toothbrush, lip and hand cream.

More garbage to carry around, use the sox, thats what they are there for and they are no use as anything else

I can't stand going to toilets on planes in just socks, no matter what cabin I'm in. I take hotel slippers and toss them after the flight.
Yeah agree, i'm like you and that's why I will slip on my shoes to go. I find the hotel slippers are liquid absorbent and wet floors still soaks through

anyone know what is provided on day flights eg QF51 Brisbane-Singapore?
iirc my last time on QF81 (daytime Sydney to Singapore) I got an amenity kit but no PJs. I think you can ask for them though (I believe I asked for one, but I don't remember. If I inventory my collection of QF PJs it seems to suggest I did get one from that flight).

thanks for that, is it worth asking? if so are they 1 size fits all or do they have various sizes?
There are two sizes to my knowledge, "S/M" and "L/XL". I think they usually hand you the size they think is appropriate, but I assume you can ask for a specific size.

It’s M/L and L/XL

They aren’t carried on day time flights in J.
There may be some available if you ask but having them “on request” isn’t guaranteed.

Re the lack of provided slippers, I bring a pair of Allbirds "lounger" shoes on flights.

They're light, don't take up much room, are easy to slip on and off, can be washed, and can be worn outdoors (as long as it's not too wet).
