Hi all, I am a new member. I plan to travel to Istanbul for a cruise October 2014 then fly to the Amalfi Coast then home to Brisbane. Friends tell me of their cheap business class flights e.g. $4000 return to Europe. I never find these deals. Any suggestions? Emirates have a deal now for much more & u cannot use the direct Bne to Dubai flights....drat.

They are probably looking at China Southern or one of the other Chinese carriers. Try kayak.com or hipmunk to see what comes up. Cheap business fares won't be on the premium carriers...

We got lucky with a travel agent last time we went to Europe. Went to her to buy PE tix, she gave us J for less money. Qantas/KLM. Neither aircraft (A330, 747) had flat bed seats, but it was waaay better than PE would have been.

Welcome to AFF Bronnie!

You could try buying miles from US Airways Dividend Miles or Avianca Lifemiles. Read the threads on AFF to get a better understanding.

Got back 3 weeks ago from Istanbul. Do yourself a favour, fly there wih Emirates. Quick and easy.

Welcome to AFF, Bronnie.

Have a look at TK (Turkish Airlines) fares. You may have to build in an onward connection from IST to get the best price.
