Whats happened to business reward seats with qantas frequent flyer?? It seems like the days are gone when you had a variety of routes to choose from. And it's disappointing that emirates do not release any seats at all. Im a gold member and am trying to find business flights for europe 2023. I check everyday and am finding nothing, very disappointing. And not one first class option either.

Welcome to AFF @Jens . Business reward seats to popular destinations like Europe have always been scarce, and are usually snapped up by high-status QFF members (ie Plat and above), who get to 'see' them first.

There was a very unusual bulk release of award seats a week or so ago, but they went quickly , as 'everybody' wants to use their points at the moment.

As an aside, is it my imagination or have the number of required points for premium seats gone up significantly in the last 12 mths?
