By Invitation Only - "enhancement" invitations now email only

Just received my "By Invitation Only" offers!

From August 2012, will only be able to receive these by email only!

I think people should be given the option, instead of just another "enhancement" and cost cutting...

Great for people that travel lots, as emails reach you everywhere, but I do still like reading some things in the mail!

Received mine just now. It's one enhancement I wouldn't mind as I get the info faster. However, not sure if I ever will attend any of the by invitation events.

I wouldn't be surprised if complaints, like mine, preempted this. I have missed out on events because they were filled by the time I received the mail.

Email is a fair way to distribute this, and I guess it saves money, too.

It is interesting that when you become a customer, Amex try to get you to sign up to get everything electronically to be 'environmentally friendly', but keep on sending you letter after letter offering you card after card when you are not a customer. This is all about cost cutting, nothing else.

I have no complaint with emails. It's good that Amex start moving into the digital age.

I think they are a waste of good cardboard
Im mean whoever pays these rediculous prices for this stuff and who would really spend the humungous amount of pts for the cough
