Doing some searches for next year, it would appear that Virgin has ended their agreement with Alliance, taking effect 11 Feb onwards. Seems the schedule hasn't been updated for Northern Winter schedule however.

The NTL flights will revert back to being operated by E190s.
Further to this, there will be an additional NTL-BNE service with an overnighting 737-800 aircraft (taking effect 6 Feb onwards; M-F) departing NTL at 6:30 to get in 10 minutes later. It will then depart BNE at 18:45 to get in at 21:05. Seems Virgin really is stepping up their presence in NTL.
New schedule as follows:
NTL-BNE
DJ1101 NTL0630 - 0640BNE 738 x7
DJ1103 NTL0850 - 0900BNE 190 x67
DJ1105 NTL1225 - 1235BNE 190 Daily
DJ1109 NTL1750 - 1800BNE 190 Daily

BNE-NTL
DJ1100 BNE0600 - 0820NTL 190 x67
DJ1102 BNE0935 - 1155NTL 190 Daily
DJ1106 BNE1500 - 1720NTL 190 Daily
DJ1108 BNE1845 - 2105NTL 738 x6

PPP's morning Fokker service will be up gauged to 737-700. Same schedule maintained.

CNS midday Fokker service will also be up gauged to 737-700. Same schedule maintained.

ROK evening Fokker service will become an E190. Same schedule maintained. (for those playing at home, the current morning Fokker will become ATR when the 3rd daily NTL flight starts)

Interesting times ahead...

Well spotted. I guess there's a chance that they have dummy data in there that far ahead. Will be interesting to see if they send the fokkers elsewhere.

I did read somewhere when they first introduced them that Shaun O'Donahuge (I think that's his name) said they were just filling capacity gaps untill more 738s became available.
Feb would also mark 12 months wouldnt it?
(I.e 12 month lease)

That would make sense Jousams. I would like to (as I'm sure other members on this forum would) see the MEL schedule improved though. That there are now 4 daily flights to BNE at convenient times, yet only a lunchtime MEL flight....well, it ain't great. A few weeks back I would have ridiculed the idea, but given the schedule advancements of the past week, I wouldn't put it past them tweaking the MEL schedule and perhaps adding a new destination (ADL, HBA, PER...) and in the more medium-term a Lounge.

I am glad to see the Fokkers go though. Whilst they did give a bit more legroom to my 195cm frame, they were incredibly noisy! I'm sure the NTL community is happy about getting their quieter, comfier E190s back, let alone the boosted flights. And it's great to see that there is enough demand for the PPP morning flight to sustain an up gauge to a 737-700. I'm sure the community up there is happy that flight is staying for what seems the longer-haul.

And indeed it seems you're correct. These flights are no longer on the booking engine :(

Dom,

A one year contract that lasted a year is news??? Anything that announces the departure of the F100 is good news!
